For Heather Blackwell, joining Options Real Estate is more than a career decision — it’s a return to her roots.
Real estate has been part of Heather’s world since she was a teenager. Since the age of 16, she’s had a front-row seat to the growth of Options Real Estate, watching it evolve from a small family operation into a respected brokerage serving Southern Dallas County and beyond. After years of building her own professional path, Heather has officially joined the firm, stepping into a role that feels both new and deeply familiar.
“I’ve seen what this business has built from the ground up,” Heather shares. “Being part of that legacy now feels incredibly meaningful.”
A Career Built on Service
Before entering real estate, Heather spent two decades as a flight attendant — a role that shaped her ability to remain calm, attentive, and service-driven in fast-paced environments. Taking care of people wasn’t just part of the job; it was the foundation. She later transitioned into direct sales, where she spent six years leading a team of women and consistently ranking as a top-performing sales agent.
Those experiences continue to define how Heather works today. Her approach is rooted in communication, responsiveness, and making sure clients feel genuinely cared for — not just during the transaction, but every step along the way.
“I’ve always believed that people deserve to feel supported and informed,” she says. “My job is to take care of my clients quickly, efficiently, and in the way that’s best for them.”
Serving the Community She Knows Best
Heather will primarily serve Southern Dallas County and Ellis County, including Midlothian — a community she knows well. Her roots in the area run deep through long-standing family and community connections. Her husband serves as the head baseball coach at Midlothian Heritage High School, further anchoring their family’s presence and involvement in the local community.
While Heather has a strong interest in commercial real estate and investment properties, she’s intentionally keeping her scope open. She enjoys working with a wide range of clients and is especially excited to help those purchasing their first investment property or taking the initial steps in their real estate journey.
“I don’t want to limit myself to one niche,” she explains. “Everyone’s goals are different, and I enjoy helping people figure out what makes the most sense for them.”
What truly sets Heather apart is the trust she builds with clients. Known for being accessible, responsive, and detail-oriented, she prioritizes clear communication and never leaves clients wondering what comes next.
Heather sums up her approach simply: “Always communicate clearly, respect your client’s time, and make sure their money is well spent.”

As she begins this next chapter with Options Real Estate, Heather is excited about more than just closing deals.
